Flash Back // When people hear why we breed our Newfoundland Dogs, they’re often shocked at the reality of why we do what we do...there are really dark and evil realities in this world. We have the amazing privilege to help bring healing to some of the worlds broken parts; through structure, stability, love, and of course a lot of help from our dogs. Some of the girls we have the privilege of loving, have been through things you can’t even imagine, and some of them were just struggling in their current circumstances and need to reset somewhere safe and outside of the noise. We often hear, “can I just take a second and sit outside with one of the dogs?” Newfies are so good at seeing someone’s heart and knowing when someone needs to be comforted. These pictures are when we picked up “Timber” and “Bayou” about a year ago! Wow, time flies! They have been with the girls since and are our future Newfie mommas. They make us laugh, cry, sometimes mad (Bayou says she’s sorry for eating your socks 😅), give much needed snuggles to those in need, and forgive when someone has relived trauma. We love our Newfies, and are so thankful for the part they play in the healing of the girls. Olive // More commonly known as “Ollie” is arguably the sweetest most gentle Newfie we have! She came from our big boy Sampson and retired momma Delilah. She is gentle, funny, calm (unless you’re running), she gets a kick out of scaring the poops right out of our goats, and she’s notorious for stealing socks and eating Barbie doll dresses... which landed her a vet appointment scheduled for next week. Ollie is tall and beautiful an wins the heart of everyone she meets. She hangs out daily with her full time care student and they are very good friends. Ollie will most likely be our next momma and have some beautiful gentle giants to show the world early 2021! We pray you guys are staying safe and washing those hands during this crazy time! 🐾 #newfoundlandsofinstagram

Bayou is growing up to be really beautiful! For a while we were wondering if she would get her big newfieness but around her year mark she hit a major growth spurt and her Newfie features exploded!! Look at this big girl’s face! We are so excited for this girl and her future puppies in the upcoming years! #dogsofinstagram #newfiesofinstagram

Bayou and Timber // Happy birthday to the sisters! These two make us crack up with their constant antics. They just had their first birthday weighing in at 105lbs and are still growing! Timber is an absolute doof and a bit of a princess. Her sister Bayou is another story, she’s an absolute handful of a tomb boy and loves to be a bit of a wild child. We hope to breed them in the next upcoming years and are so excited for the fun looks and personalities of their litters. *Hint hint* their mom’s coat was champagne lavender 😱🤩. We’re expecting some fabulous pups from these future mommas!
